One of the things I love most about McKinney is how our community shows up for one another. When local businesses step forward to give back, it reminds me why this city is such a special place to live and work.
This month, I had the opportunity to recognize two incredible businesses that made a meaningful impact on the McKinney Food Pantry.
Spineally generously donated $1,000, and J&M Construction contributed $500 to support the pantry’s mission of serving families across our community.
The Impact of Local Business Support
Because of partnerships like these, the McKinney Food Pantry is able to serve more than 10,000 individuals every month. That support helps provide groceries for families facing food insecurity, ensures children have meals at home, and helps seniors avoid having to choose between medicine and food.
These donations represent more than financial contributions. They show what happens when businesses truly care about the community they serve.

Their generosity helps the pantry continue operating as a choice pantry, where families can shop with dignity and select the foods that best meet their needs.
